Accepting new clients.

What’s therapy with me like? My focus includes anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma-related stressors/intergenerational trauma, and ADHD.

I integrate a person-centered, mind-body, and narrative-based approach. Using these approaches allows me to sit with you to understand how I can assist you on your journey to achieving holistic well-being. I understand the importance of building a strong therapeutic foundation by providing a supportive and accepting environment that allows individuals to be open without fear or criticism. Through mind-body approaches I believe in focusing on the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and physical health. Our lives are shaped by the stories we tell ourselves. In narrative therapy, we’ll explore the narratives that influence your identity and experiences, empowering you to rewrite stories that no longer serve you.

How I’ve kept learning… [Coming soon!]

Who do I work with? I work with individuals 15 and older. I really enjoy working with young adults.

My impacting identities are… I am a first-generation American; Hispanic descent. As a Latina I have a lived experience of navigating the different social and cultural rules that stem from it, as well as, an understanding and deep respect for my roots. I understand the stigmas associated with mental health in our communities and the internal struggle that often comes with reaching out for support.

I feel allied/aware/part of/informed/knowledgeable about… Neurodivergent (part of), trauma survivors (part of), Chronic illness/Disabled/Rare Genetic Disorders communities (aware, knowledgeable), LGBTQ+ (allied).

I am the best fit for a client who… is curious and open-minded about therapy, especially if trying it for the first time or coming back to it; is willing to explore any thoughts, patterns, and experiences, even if they are difficult or uncomfortable; is invested in their personal growth and healing.

I am not a good fit for a client who… is closed off and resistant to change.

What makes me unique? I am passionate about providing a brave space for individuals of multiple intersecting identities. It is a privilege to be allowed into your world and I handle that with the utmost care.
